Sunday 15th at Olympians MMA we are having an MMA interclub. We have about 10 matches for guys who are thinking about fighting.

Rules are no elbows and no knees, 16 oz boxing gloves and thai shin pads, no heel hook, no hammer fists, normal mma rules apart from the restrictions.

All matches are going to be 1 * 5 minute round.

Im jumping in with Leigh Remedious for one, im sure he will be trying his hardest to liver kick me silly but i'm planning on giving him some smacks. Will be a good laugh. Anyone in the area is welcome to come and have a look. Will be in new gym, in the training cage.

Yes come down, but its nota really competitive inetrclub it will be tough but i want 50/50s. No Mini Stapes. You can jump in with Glen for boxing, but bring your headgear.

Why would I when I have never boxed. Im good friends with Mark Hobson if I wanted a hard boxing spar I can get one. I offered to come down and play coz it sounded a laugh, now youve pissed me off and imo being a cocky cunt. You changed MMA fun to me havin to wear head gear against an ex world champ pro boxer. I take that as a fuckin insult. You at the BFC draw tomorrow and we can sort this out???

My guys are all mostly newbies and have just started training, i think the guys at the quanum interclubs would be too much for them. If you came down im 100 % sure you would want to spar with a world champ boxer, but he hits so hard not meaning to so stick a head guard on.

All interclub contests either 1 * 5 (16 oz boxing gloves and shins),

I think you guys are jumping on reedy alittle here... I know he didnt mean it like that at all... The interweb is not the best place to talk about things. As things are often read in the wrong way. It is however understandable how you could have read it wrong (Paul you do like to bait!)... I think you should all just take a step back on this one and have a real chat about it. Honeslty the spirt of this Sunday is a bit of fun and getting some experiance for some newbies to MMA.

Lets keep it that way.

If you're going to pick up on someone for whom English is a second language on their spelling, punctuation and grammar you could at least spell "sentence" properly ;)

Suspension bridge is amazing.

All the guys did really well today. some excellent matches and there were a lot of people that turned up to watch so the atmosphere was really good and that will do wonders for the guys that will compete in the future. Well done to Wez for reffing 10 contests, and all the olympian and VT fighters.

It was a good day and a cracking atmosphere,really enjoyed it.
Thought that Wes ran the day really well and that all of the bouts were evenly matched.
Enjoyed your round with Leigh,nice lead left hooks from you also.
Do you think that this will becoma a regular thing Paul?

Yes it will matey, we want to do it often as possible. I think all the guys learned a lot form it. Really good atmosphere.
