The British Judo Association is running a Ne-Waza (groundwork)Seminar and has asked
BJJ and Judo Black Belts - Ray Stevens (Olympic Medallist) Dickie Martin and Simon Hayes alongside Judo Ne-Waza Legend Steve Gawthorpe to instruct at the seminar.

The seminar is aimed at BJA Coaches who wish to brush up on their Ne-Waza Teaching, but is also open to anyone who holds a BJA license.

The good news is that the crossover between Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is continuing in the U.K. and the fact that the BJA is validifying the exchange of techniques and ideas is very promising for the development of both sports for British players.

THE SEMINAR IS ONLY OPEN TO BJA LICENSE HOLDERS.

That is both interesting and promising. However, it really will depend who turns up! Also i will be interested to see how it is run - being a revalidation event you could have some numpty coaches that don't know their arse from their elbow (hope it goes really well, I will try and push it where i can) WOnt be there as im in grenwich for a BOA weekend
