EDIT: Fucked up the title, should be - GSP official response to NSAC re "greasing" incident. I blame being forced to work while reading forums! ;)

I guess the whole issue should be done now but I am sure people will keep on about it.

haven't read it in its entirety, but that appears to just be testimonials from GSP's coaches?
I don't see how that warrants a conclusion to the matter.

Yeah, I meant response to the NSAC... my bad.
Sounds spot on to me though. The breathing technique thing is clearly bollocks but if they think it works, hey.

Renzos points about BJs intention of submitting gsp make alot of sense.

Its in the PDF Rob posted.
In summary he says:
That BJ is considered one of the best grapplers in MMA, but that his stated game plan of submitting GSP from guard (which is what bj claims the vaseline prevented him from doing) seems highly unlikely given that BJ has never never submitted an opponent in MMA off his back, claims that BJs top game is his strength when it comes to submissions and that historically BJ only uses his bottom game to escape back to his feet and utilize his boxing, and that he finds it extremely unlikely that BJ would decide to alter a game plan which has worked so well for him and
do so against the world champ in a division higher then he usually fights in.
He goes on to say that, given BJs usual game of using his bjj from the bottom to sweep or scramble back to his feet and use his boxing, greasing would have worked AGAINST gsp.

thanks just read it in pdf, seems a bit pointless to me trying to break down what would have happened. Think we all know bj would have been smashed regardless but if gsp's corner broke the rules they need to be punished

i agree ^^^
it doesnt matter if the greasing would have worked for or against GSP or BJ or whether it changed the outcome of the fight. if they applied grease they broke the rules
