I was training to be one until I met who I was going to be working with and until I learned what I was going to be doing. There's so much stigma attached to the job also and I don't agree with a lot of the law or how the justice system works.......actually......in short, what the fuck was I thinking in applying in the first place??? It's a hard fucking job. It changes people.

its funny how on these OB documentaries the police are all friendly, kind and made to look like victims.
how comes ive never met OB like that:confused: ones ive had the misfortune to come into contact with havent been slow in dishing out slaps, abuse, threats etc.
no denying it's a hard job, and if i was OB i'd dish out slaps to little scum bags n'all.
What fucks me off is the way they treat us football lads, used to get hurded around like cattle and get untold grief just for standing on a street corner.

tough job, but they bring alot of it on themselves the way theyr are so heavy handed with certain people (football lads etc) but weak as piss against more serious crimes i.e. the muslims rioting in london the other week having the OB backing off. if that were football lads the OB would have steamed us and beat the fuck out of every one.

the WA police out here have been suffering loads this past 6 months. one station in particular:

early december last year it was first attacked when the windows of several cop cars were smashed.
2 weeks later the same thing happened again.
boxing day several cop car tyres were let down
early january the same station was again targeted when windows of the station itself were smashed and bricks thrown at them.
a few days after that a masked man burst into the station threw a fire bomb which set the desk officer on fire.

last week a copper from that station on the beat was pistol whipped by an armed man, fracturing his skull.

These events all started mid last year when the first instance of a brutal attack on police was when an officer was headbutted in a bar fight leaving him paralised on one side. a month after that event a copper had his taser gun stolen off him and used on him repeatedly!

Quite some punishment my local OB have been taking the past 6 months lol.
