What went wrong? was anyone at this event? I have heard today that the turn out was poor with only approx 100/150 in attendance. When Ground & Pound was part of the Cagewarriors group at Weston-Super-Mare we were turning people away with a capacity crowd. Will there be a G&P 4 or has Justin thrown in the towel? This would be a shame as this show was very keen to expand the semi-pro scene.

I wondered why you didnt mention anything about GnP.

Have u thiought about having a semi-pro amtuer event running alongside your main shows. And then make your main shows Pro rules only.

Like i said in teh chat room.

If this has knocked the wind out of Justins shows I will seriouslly have to look into providing an outlet for the semi pro guys as at this time I would like to keep the main cagewarriors show pro. I will look into this & see what I can do.

Ground and Pound in Weston Supermare was packed, I was lucky to get in it was so full. It had a great card and some awesome fights.

I never knew this event was even happening, so therefore had no idea of venue, date, cost or fight card.

It's a shame because like stated above the semi-pro and amateur guys need somewhere to fight. Maybe Cage Warriors could have a few semi-pro fights on the undercard before the main events start.

I dont think you should have semi-pro events on a big card. One of the reasons why CW3 suffered at the start was due to teh semi pro fights. The crowd didnt understand why their was no striking on the ground and therefore booed, which created an atmosphere.

Kainer is correct, but some fighters will only fight semi pro for the time being so they'll need somewhere to get the semi pro experiance.

I didn't know anything about this event, when I saw 'GnP' result thread on sfuk I thought it was a foreign event! Obviously something is lacking in the promotion there.

There should be specalist semi-pro cards

agreed with kainer- specialist semi-pro shows and full pro shows, no mixed.

I think that if it was made clearer to the crowd that these are semi-pro fights trying to make it to the professional level then they would understand.

If they were billed on the undercard as taster fights of whats to come later in the night, make them seem like the crowd is getting them for FREE as an added bonus before the show really starts and they would be very happy.
