Mistakes the Ref made:

Getting in the way of fighters,
Taking a point away for arguing,
Stopping a fight when someone faked a lowblow,
Helping one of his own fighters put a triangle choke on etc...

billy vs neil was a good scrap, billy tagged him on the feet loads and had him rocked and neil mostly controlled the ground, other than a couple of sub attempts by billy off his back. good fight, good result!

Cheers everyone! Yeah i enjoyed it! every1 assumed it would be a ground fight as thats our background. However i've been doin so much Thai recently that i fancied a good old spar! In my head i was sayin "Control aggression", but my body and hands were flappin like a dyin fish! haha! Seriously Neil, you have a CHIN and half! Never let any1 doubt your chin. some of the shots you took, ie the knee to the face, ouch! The ground was fun too, because i normally attack none stop but had to play smart as i know you have solid ground! Loved it!

p.s. My Shin is purple today, so hope your leg hurts because i'd hate to think they were all in vain! haha. Top man and a very respectful opponent!

Yeah I had a good fight with Billy, top lad.. caught me pretty much right off the bell with a right hand flush in the eye.. was seeing 2 of the fucker after that! screwed me up lol

Very nice guy, credit to his team.. I ended the first round with a deep anaconda choke and he stood up grinning and said something along the lines of "oooooo!" hahaha..

Jay Vs O was a GREAT fight.. O controlled early but Jay showed some excellent heart and ground skills, I wouldn't have liked to decide on that one.

Platts Vs Afzal - Platts is a warrior, simple as.

Speedy Vs Greaves - Speedy did his thing, 2 years out not a spot of ringrust. Very good opponant in Tommy.. people dont kid when they say his hands are fast!!

That Choke was a new one to me (i'l be looking that up), i just knew there was 10 seconds left so was putting my thumbs up behind your head so every1 knew i was ok! Don't worry bout seeing two of me - ask any1 who knows me, last year i looked like two of me put together! haha!

P.s. I almost pulled off my first omaplata attempt. was a wicked tussle!

I enjoyed the afternoon of MMA action, and thought that Trev did a very good job of the refereeing, keeping the fights flowing and keeping on top of the action at all times. A big well done to all the guys who stepped into the Cage, you all did well. Fight of the afternoon for me was Neil Duncan v Billy Glossop. I thought it was all over when Billy landed that BIG right hand, but Neil showed real durability and came back with some excellent jits skills.
