I read about this on Facebook.

Good to see King of the Cage and ProElite back in the UK again.

Even if it's on the same weekend as the BFC and also in the same area.

I do not believe this to be true, I know the Guy that owns KOTC, I spoke to him last week & asked when he was coming back to UK, he said that he was not to sure & had not thought about it as he was going on holiday to Columbia for the whole of April, he assured me that when he does return he will be calling me for a social.
Ian has also said that it is not on their web-site so there I think we have it.
Chris.

Probably end up eating my words after that!

Let's get this right. When KOTC was in the UK last time it ws under the auspices of a franchisee (two British business partners)...who did a very good job...but lost a load of money because someone deliberately sabotaged their very first show which had to move to a different venue in a different town at the 11th hour. As a consequence of that, they were unable to carry on. This the owner of the KOTC may or may not be bringing his KOTC to the UK but he certainly won't be bringing it back because he hasn't been here yet

I think this event is being organised by the Promoters of King of The Ring, in Nottingham.

Where they gonna put the cage in Rock City in the middle of the dance floor? cause i dont think it will fit on the stage there. It seems like a stange place for a MMA show although i think they have done one there before years ago.

It should be able to fit a big cage, the dance floor is alot bigger than you think when theres no one on there.I cant see it being all seating though, it only holds about 1200 people when a gigs on (or maybe 1700 i cant remember off the top of my head)

TBH I can't remember if it was a ring or a cage at the last one (Ashfield Spartan Fight Club, Sunday September 14, 2003 - thank you SFUK!). It wasn't a big event by any means...
