Some more details on UK BJJ history up on RGA Aylesbury (http://rgaa.co.uk/history_uk.php) and Kamon BJJ (http://www.kamonbjj.com/?page_id=21) (therefore both are from the RGA perspective), by Kev Capel and Kevin Chan respectively, who have both been around the scene a long time.

I've also put up a long BJJ history post (http://slideyfoot.blogspot.com/1982/06/history-of-brazilian-jiu-jitsu-bjj.html) on my blog (UK-specific bit here (http://slideyfoot.blogspot.com/1982/06/history-of-brazilian-jiu-jitsu-bjj.html#BJJintheUK)), but I don't have anything like the experience of the above two BJJers. That means mine is mostly based on lots of books, the aforementioned SFUK thread and Google.
