I honestly think that BJ is better in every department here...

I'm interested to see how BJ Penn is after the GSP loss. It was such a one-sided beatdown that I wonder whether it's affected his confidence etc

I think BJ has the better striking, BJJ and wrestling but Kenny gets better each time you see him.

BJ also just seems to be surrounding himself with the same training crowd. Kenny always comes in with great cardio so will want to push BJ into the later rounds.

brah, Penn has this in the bag.. GSP beat him, no question, but he pulled out at the end of th 4th, GSP couldnt finish him, with strikes or nothing and he was twice the size.

Apparently before the GSP fight Penn couldn't be beaten at WW or LW. Just because he goes running through his home town with his training partners doesn't mean he's suddenly a cardio machine.

I think it will be good fight, bj is near enough impossible to take down, unless your a beast like GSP, but i think kenny may have enough savvy on the ground to stay out of trouble if bj decided to take him down, I would lean towards Florian being a better overall striker, whereas i think bj is more of a boxer. either way it will be a great fight...for some reason i have a feeling kenny may pull it off

I have said this before, and will day agian, Penn wont need cardio for the length of time this will last.
I never said he was a cardio machine, but he wont be beaten at LW, his only loss at LW wasnt a loss, he tapped pulver, the ref missed it, the bell went.. and he lost on the judges cards, when he dominated the whole fight.. me thinks something was currupt about that.. but then rematched and nearly put him to sleep, ref didnt miss that tapout.

I think if BJ hasn't done a LOT of work on his cardio then Kenny will just try and wait it out until BJ has no gas left then go to work on him as hard and fast as he can.

Penn is over-rated and a bit of a cock-sucker, so I would love for Ken-Flo to smash him and send him back to the "how not to be an arrogant asshole" drawing board, but I can't see that happening. I'll grudgingly go for BJ by stoppage within the non-title fight rounds.

Kenflo cud take this he just needs to utilise the same game plan as gsp push the takedowns and dirty boxing first round and half bj's shoulders will die! Then hellbow him to the death!

Just don't Vaseline the shoulders cause it works as an invisible forcefield rendering bj helpless to GNP!!!

BJ Penn should win, he has the talent to blow through anyone in his division but a lot of it is down to BJ himself.
Will he come in shape like his last couple of fights or will old habits creep in? How will he mentally respond after a what was a very one sided beating from GSP?

If he's not in shape or mentally prepared then florian could well take this but all down to bJ.

Personally I'd love to see Florian take it as his improvements have been incredible but just can't see it

but with the fight so close im going with florian now

hes trained with pretty much everyone leadin up to this fight hes gone to loads of different training camps, i think he knows hes got a better chance v bj then against sherk

and it just seems he wants it more
