Ive had a iffy hip for about a year now.

Its fine until i goto training, i use it (doing a few thia kicks or bridgeing alot) and next min its constantly in pain for a few days afterwards (dull ache, and gets worse when i use it)

When i took time off i never had the slightest bit of bother with it. The pain is around the back of the hip on my right side.

Any ideas what this could be?

gammy hip?

sounds fatal :chinese:

go see a physio. it'll cost you 30/35 squids but its worth it- better than not be able to train and walking around in pain anyways

I've got a bit of a dodgy hip, it'll pop out every so often and I have to move my leg around until it goes back in.

Make sure you go to a good physio, I had a sports massage on my back last week and it only made it worse!

But Paul.. you told me you were clean :p

Whats a good stretch for the hips i could use?

it doesn't sound like an issue simple stretching could cure.

go see a physio. not a "sports massage therapist", but a proper sports physio. he should be able to sort you out.

its most likely a back problem, and you just don't know about it. being a computer bod like me, you spend all day sat on your arse and this is really bad for your back. i bet you have bad posture don't you??? huh? yeah you can't deny it cos its true... i know these things.

go to a physio. if you don't your leg will drop off :)

Well my hip got worse!

Its now a constant pain, ive got an appointment with the doc tomorrow or something. Gonna be a complete waste of time.

seems trapped nerves are common on my mothers side..
Wont bother me if its just that, means its not fecked, just wired wrong.

Im doing both.

Going to docs first, then going to proper guy.

bah take my fucking advice and go to physio. a Doc will tell you not to do whatever makes it hurt and a physio will make you better so you can go off and hurt it again!

Oh i know dude.

Im appeasing the mother by going to the doc.
Its gonna be a complete waste of time for sure.

Doctors suck ass.

I dont think he even looked at me.
When i described how ive had it for about a year and it gets worse when i train.
"I dont have any answers really"

then fobbed me off with some shit that will cost me 6quid at least.
At least it only lasted 2 mins.

Clearly I have the worst GP in the planet
