Hi there , what are the classes like ? I've done a bit of judo but have had a 1 year lay off and fancy going back to some grappling / ground work as that what was I really enjoyed doing. I'm also interested in any info on the gracie barra in swansea as I work shifts and sometimes it's better for me to train during the day. Cheers !!

Well I can tell you about Pedro Bessa mate, I'll leave Rob T to inform you on Barra.

Monday nights classes are held at the Welsh institute of sports in Sophia Gardens, 6.30pm till 8pm is Judo with team GB Craig Ewers and 8pm till 9.30pm BJJ with Pedro. A very good class for all levels of experience with white, blue and purple belts in BJJ and some shit hot Judoka.

There will be a Friday night No-Gi class starting when Pedro returns from the Worlds, details will be confirmed soon.

There is day training around Cardiff with some of us who work in Cardiff and the students who do nothing now thier exams have finished. This is organised weekly and is either in the UFCC (City road), Central youth club (Down the Bay) or Talybont (what evers free when we are). There is a facebook group

Also Classes daily in Abertillery (Greg Creel) and Swansea (Kevin Cox and Simon Davies) most week nights, all Pedro Bessa academies.

PM me for times mate, more than welcome to come along anytime.

Cheers , I'm from your neck of the woods so I'll definitely hook up when my shifts allow. Bit Lardy at the mo so need to do something. Craig is an exceptional judoka , saw him scrapping at the commonwealths in Derry.

Big thanks to all the guys and gal from the club. Really enjoyed although a 2 year lay off didn't help. Its a big difference to what I've done before. Hopefully I'll make this a regular occurence. Thanks again Mei.
