I have to say that I most impressed with the prompt service from Faixa Rua. I ordered a new Gi on Bank Holiday Monday and received it Friday, in line with their stated delivery times... looking forward to 'mat testing' it today!

What gi did you get. Im looking for a new gi, and the FAIXA RUA seem to be well recomended, from this and other threads. The problem Ive got ordering on line is the size. My Atami gi is a A3 and fits like a glove but Other A3 s Ive tried are too small. And the Blitz Lutador size 6 is too big.
How big are you and what size did you order if you dont mind sharing such personel detais.

I'm 5'11" and 90kg and an A3 Faixa Rua is perfect for me. If you are much biger than that I would go for an A4 and shrink it with a hot wash or two.

lovely thanks, Its annoying because I weigh about 190lbs and am 6.2 and its right on the line between A3 and A4. I ll have to find someone with an A3 and try it on.

i've worn Keiko and Gameness gis for nearly 5 years and I like the Faixa Rua better. Excellent value for money and comes with a hilarious post dispatch email to make sure it's arrived!!!

Mate there are plenty of Brazilian women here in Sydney as well. Roll on next Summer. Only downer is you don't get a lot of topless action on the beaches.

I bought a white Gold weave from Faixa Rua last month & I must say it's excellent.

I was looking for a good kimono supplier in the UK & randomly came across Rob T's review of their Gi's. I decided to take a punt on his review being accurate & I must say it was spot on in every regard.

I like their Gi's so much I'm looking at purchasing their Blue Pearl weave Kimono. Has anyone here got 1 of these? Is it much heavier than the Gold weave because if it is I'd prefer to just buy a second Gold weave. any info from people who have rolled in one would be appreciated.

I think faixarua has said the gold and pearl weaves weigh the same. Not 100% on that, but fairly confident.
