yeah it is always fun, if i don't go out n get trashed on saturday i may come down to watch. i'm sure you'll do great at LW, has it been hard dropping the weight?
Cool, it was hard to begin with because I was always hungry lol, but I got used to the diet and more exercise and its been fine recently. I feel as strong and fitter then I did at WW so if it goes well I'll prob stay at this weight, looking forward to it
Check! I'll be there...still gotta lose a fair bit of weight though.

Okay what's the deal with holding the the combat sports open on the same day as some marathon with tons of people. There's nothing more annoying than stupid runners blocking the hallway as you try to race to the weigh ins with stomach cramps. I nearly had a nervous breakdown!
Oh well, another good event. Nice to speak to some of the fighters as well as people who post on here (Stormrog and Shakey?... erm: Shakus Maximus??). I think the highlight of the day was that kid that got KO'd after getting slammed by Mr Pink shorts from Tillery Combat! That was nuts! Hope he's okay...and well done to Jon May, dominating well in both his fights and getting a nice arm triangle in second fight! Roll on the 3rd leg!

yes mate shaky = shakus maximus
well don to martin "mr pink" mcdonaugh
another 2 wins for him and the slam is becoming his trademark but f**k me this one was brutal. even more impressive is that he is 63kg competing with bigger guys in the under 70 division
has anyone ever been legally KO'd in a no headshot event?
also very proud of mark marshman who has only been training six months
the future is very bright for tillery combat

nice win, how did you get away with not actually using any techinques (kicks etc)?????? lol it's like your a machine only programmed to triangle.
ROFL! God knows... Yeah, I was pretty exhausted. I like doing knees, kicks, punches but I dropped a bit too much weight last minute and really felt it. Could barely lift my legs up to kick (no joke).

JUST BEEN INFORMED THAT MARTIN MCDONAUGH HAS HAD HIS WIN FROM KO ING THE OPPONENT ROBERT JONAH WITH A SLAM TURNED INTO A NO CONTEST AS ROBERT HAS CONTACTED THE EVENT ASKING FOR MARTIN TO BE DISQUALIFIED AND HIMSELF AWARDED THE WIN
HIS ARGUMENT IS BASED ON THAT HE HAS SENT A PHOTO IN SHOWING MARTIN HOLDING HIS RASH GUARD JUST BEFORE THE SLAM
I MEAN THERE IS NO WAY MARTIN COULD HAVE LIFTED HIM WITHOUT HOLDING ON TO HIS RASHGUARD:rolleyes:
WE ARE REALLY DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS AS ROBERT HAD NO COMPLAINTS ON THE DAY.
LETS HOPE THEY CAN GET MATCHED AGAIN AND ROBERT REMOVES HIS RASHGUARD SO THERE CAN BE NO ARGUMENTS
No way! Sorry to hear that. I saw that fight and it seemed legit to me (plus he got slammed on his back, not spiked on his head)... Martin lifted him up whilst Robert held guard. I didn't see the rash guard or anything being pulled. If he'd had used the rash guard, wouldn't it have ripped? Christ that's one durable Rash guard, lol!
Sounds like a saw loser to me who's finding an excuse. I know it's a gutting to lose in such a way but sometimes you just gotta man up and accept it n come back stronger. lol ..at Rob asking for the DQ and then wanting to be awarded with the win instead!
