Having good balance creates good posture, balance and posture are very important for Jiu Jitsu.

The 2nd video is awesome, the stuff Galvao does is insane.

I can kneel and sit on a fit ball with good balance pretty easy, nowhere near able to stand on one though... let alone jump up on to it like it's nothing!!

I go BMX jumping to help my balance.

A bigger injury risk than a swiss ball though.

Really? seriously. just replace 2 hours of what ever else with doing it. Its pretty easy once you get the feel for it.
Its really more a discipline on its own imho, than it adds to bjj.

but the first video IS VERY VERY impressive. lifting that stuff on a wobble board. galvao is a beast.

The bungee coard and wobble bord work is beter imho than the swiss ball.

Yeah, I mean, I haven't practiced it that much as I'd rather spend the time doing other stuff. Also doesn't help that the fit ball down the club needs pumping up!

that was sensational..

His ball work and stability/strength workouts where sublime..

the only thing that i will say that i was very surprised with is his flexibility..i would have assumed rightly or wrongly that it would have been better..but on that note, there is no doubt that physique is built for power..''to burn you like fire''

I seem to recall that Margarida used to do (light) barbell squats whilst stood on a swiss ball. Now that takes balance.

I saw a video of some guy doing that, seem to remember it was a rower? Definitely impressive.

I can't find anyone doing them on a ball.

Very good stuff, but why, in the comments is there always someone who asks what the song is? Like that was the best bit of the video!
