I have seen footage of some top bjj guys using such set ups for sweeps..esp galvao..wondere how he transfers these skills in a no gi setting?

i have seen chris brennan do very similar sweep where he keeps ahold of the wrist..places his knee into the crook of the elbow and when ur partner attempts to pass say, halfbutterfly..then he would roll him in similar fashion and achieve the knee on belly position. Maybe its a completely differant application of technique..
