Does enjoying a good racist joke make me racist? Or does it just mean I have a good sense of humour? Having a verbal battle with somebody over it?

Depends on the specific joke really, and how it's told.
Like, some jokes are "wtf, you can't say that" type funny, some are ironically funny and then I hear some racist jokes and am literally thinking "Did you hear that off Nick Griffin?" aka Roy Chubby Brown/Bernard Manning style stuff.

I dont think so, if you find something funny, then its funny to you..
I have plenty of black mates, but I also laugh at jokes about black or asian..
I think most black, white, asian people understand that a joke is a joke. and if something is there to be taken the piss out of, whether it be colour, stereotype or whatever, its fair game..
I think why people are afraid to laugh, is because there are people out there thats only purpose in life is to clutch onto the race card in order to make them feel good or they are some kind of defender to people of their skin colour.. a joke is a joke, fucking laugh about it
all though I will add, the joke on the katie price thread about bob sapp and harvey, did make me laugh, but I can totaly see why that is offensive.. but not because of colour or anything at all like that

This is the internet. It's important to make fun of and hate all cultures. Even your very own. What's important at the end of the day is that someone gets hurt about something.

I heard that Harvey didn't see jordan and peter's split coming... That's neither racist or offensive... to anyone but harvey..

I laugh at racist jokes too; not a racist man, but I like most things that are offensive; for the plain fact they're offensive, not caused they're aimed at a particular creed.
A black man's walking through a forest in china, and he happens upon an old, oriental man; skipping stones across a lake.
"Hey man, what you up to?" The black man asks
"I skip the stones across the lake" Begins the oriental man "and the lake sings to me the names of my ancestors"
To prove his point; he skips a stone across the lake, and as the rock skips the water, the lake sings "Lin-pan-wei"
"Linpanwei was the name of my great grandmother" The oriental man says
He skips another stone
The lake sings "Hai-po-lon"
"Haipolon is my father" The Oriental man claims
"Let me have a go at that!" The black man shouts; and throws a rock across the water
"Chim-pan-zee" The river sings
"The fuck!??!, mother fucker!!!" The black man shouts, enraged; he picks up a huge rock and launches it into the water
The water shouts:
"BABOON!"

if its funny, its funny. i know plenty of black and asian lads who take the piss out of themselves and tell the jokes. same as i know fat, stupid, irish etc people who take the michael out of themselves.
if you can't have a laugh what's the point in living.
some people are too precious imo, very few 'racist' jokes actually cross the line, and are no worse than fat, blonde etc jokes.
some people choose to be offended for the mere fact they believe that is the pc, thus correct thing to do  it's just a joke, it's not meant as offensive and at the end of the day it is just words.
for me nothings sacred unless it clearly steps way over the mark and for me to consider it crossing the line it has to be pretty damn bad. i suppose some people have thinner skin and deem most things as offensive.
