im looking to start training mma soon and have heard there is a club in birtley and one in washington does anybody have any numbers or details of who i would need to speak to if i wanted to join as i cant find anything about the clubs on the internet.also i have heard that ian freemans gym in leadgate is good but he only trains lads with experience or who want to fight for him does anyboy no if this is true.any info would be great.cheers

Sunderland Ju Jitsu & MMA Club (Peter McQueens Classes) are held on Tuesday and Thursday at Herrington Burn YMCA. These classes are really good whether your just starting out or are very experienced. Spartan gym in sunderland is a good one mate the lads are spot on try spartngym.co.uk they train monday and wedensday mma kickbocking tuesday and thursday open mat on other days it a good price give them a ring the details are on the site

thats champion cheers lads i will try them but ideally i was looking for something abit closer does anybody have any info on the birtley or washington gyms
