Ricky Gillon, the head coach and founder of the Battlefield Gym has instructed at least 5 British Champions on shows from both Scotland and England. He has been in a transitional period trying to open new premises (far bigger than present) in the heart of Glasgow city centre. He is well respected within the MMA world and your lack of respect should probably be kept to yourself if you plan to train elsewhere within Scotland. Rather than posting your problems on here you should have had the decency to address the man himself.

It is a total lack of resepct for our gym.

Don't know how anybody could make comment like that as Ricky is outstading at what he does plus all the guys at the gym are brand new and always make new people feel welcome. No ego's or nothing at the Battlefield Gym.

I have been training there for around 2 or 3 months now and it's been excellent, and with the new place opening at the end of the month, it's going to be one hell of a place to be.

gyms should'nt be competing with each other, all the gym in scotland and the UK should be trainin hard and respectfully to further improve and evolve british MMA.
comin on to a public forum n bad mouthing a gym is bad chat, if u hav a problem keep it to yourself as there is no need to bring up ur thoughts on another gym.

actually, in the interests of the sport, it is important that people have a means of communicating exactly this kind of feed back, whether we agree or not.
if i bought something out of asda and was unsatisfied with the service (even if it was good), i should tell people about my experience for the good of other consumers.

The only place worse than Cumnock is New Cumnock.
The Cumnock locals didn't have enough people to fight with and generally hate so they made a new town just for that reason.
You can tell Wull is from there, no front teeth and hard as fuck.

bad day for the vipers overall. well done to ross cuffe who got us a win good debut m8. bit of confusion and fighter swaps at weigh in and david lawson 60kg fought johnny dailly 68kg. david is 100x better than that and will be back. the bull put up a good fight against slugger in his debut but still never did wot hes capable of. joe nugent seems to be in a bad place with 3 losses in a row against guys who i believe he is better than or at least make it much more competitive against. not takin anything away from these guys but its not the best of joe ur fighting. very frustrating.
