Thought it was abit TOOOOOO gay for my liking. He gets away with it because most of it is scripted, still some very funny scenes. The mma cagefight scene just made me laugh for ages

Yeah I agree with you Chris, I felt at times it was just a bit much. I thought it was funny at times but didn't enjoy it half as much as Borat. I thought it was hilarious when he took little "O.J." onto the chat show.

i was let down by it.

it basically was the same story as Borat but with a different character i.e. going to america on a quest, even had the 2nd character angle too, chatshow, sports event etc...

i also found the character far to gay for the sake of it. There wasnt as much wit as there was just over the top gayness.

Borat was something else, that set a very high benchmark and once SBC has been recognised its hard for him to get the same natural reaction with common people because of the hype behind him in the US. left the film looking very scripted.

not seen it, don't intend to, stopped watching after he dumped borat for that poof bruno.
mate went to see it said it was a laugh but with some dirty parts. he said it was similar to borat just a different character - as read on here. so no point seing it.

I havent bothered going to watch it. Ive seen SBC Ali G movie , and Borat movie, and he is funny with those characters, but i dont find him that funny with this Bruno character.

I have the DVD "Ali G does america" and in that DVD he does sketches with all 3 of those characters, and the Bruno ones i just didnt find funny, SBC is not onto a winner with that character
