If you were to visit Amsterdam on Holiday and stop into the M-1 Global gym, you would witness a wide array of world class fighting talent. But to the surprise of many, the M-1 training roster is not just limited to men. A staple of the M-1 gym just happens to be former Judo standout Cindy “Battlecat” Dandois.

Since making her transition to MMA, all Dandois has done is pulled off one of the biggest upsets in female MMA, defeating Marloes Coenen, at one time thought to be the top pound-for-pound female fighter in the world. Dandois pulled off the upset unanimous decision during a “Beast of the East” event in January of this year.

As she bides her time training in the M-1 gym, Dandois has her sights set on earning an opportunity in the States to compete against Gina Carano or Cris Cyborg. To learn more about this up-and-coming female talent, watch the video below, courtesy of M-1Global.com contributor Fabrice Deters:
