Any suggestions for countering the old "chin tucked" RNC defense?
In training I can take the back and keep position quite easily, but while wearing gloves (And especially if the opponent is wearing a loose tshirt) if find it very difficult to lock in the choke once they keep their chin tucked.
What are my options?

If they let me wrap right around their chin and I can fully lock my arms together, I'll just go the body triangle and squeeze. Pretty much still get a tap every time, although I don't apply this too often and not particularly forcefully in training. I have finished it this way twice in competition though.
Other stuff you can do...
The arm that is wrapped around the chin grabs over their trap, then keeping your hand in place pull your arm into their face and raise your elbow, this should lift their chin... slide your other arm underneath and switch to the opposite side grip.
With the arm around their chin hug their head as tight as possible, then use that to rotate their head towards the shoulder of the arm you are gripping with. Once you start getting a bit of rotation, life the head as well. Slide your other arm underneath.
They usually reach up to grab your arm as well as tucking the chin. If they do this use the arm which is around their chin to get a grip on their far wrist. Push it down and trap it with your leg... now you're two on one and should always be able to land the choke.
Lower percentage, but this can work if everything else is failing... Keep a tight grip with the arm around their neck, now on the side that hand is take your other hand and bend your fingers. Drive your knuckles into their neck (on the artery) and keep pushing them in... most people will react by bending their head to that side, which can give you the chance to get the arm around their chin underneath (by pulling back towards you and sliding under).
Hope some of this helps mate, I love the RNC.
