Another thread got me thinking about this:
What MMA techniques should and should not be taught to
Under 18s
Under 16s
Under 12s
For example, I would argue that it was unsafe to teach chokes and strangles to kids for obvious reasons.
However, as an adult who is still getting problems with my shoulder 3 years after being on the receiving end of a 'ragged on' kimura I would question whether under 16s should be taught any submissions at all

my fren,
maybe is best for jus teach them mma without jiu jitsu.is jus thai boxe an wrestle.jiu jitsu is the dangerus stuff you mention so no teach kids jiu jitsu.
all the other stuff in mma is ok for them.

I do not agree - students can and should be taught Ju Jitsu - its not what you teach them its how you teach them. When I do take downs, arm bars and chokes my students are broke into 3 groups and told that they always tap - dont go in hard - you are working with your partner not trying to kill them. I have seen and had more students get hurt doing stand up fighting than when they do ground work, be firm and stay on 1 or 2 moves a lesson and its not a problem.

I'd love to test ju jitsu out in a real 1 v 1 fight lol.

I did Judo/Ju-Jitsu when i was younger for about 5years and never saw anyone injured from a sub in that time.
Infact the only time i've seen someone injured was in a comp when i got put against a really fat kid (like twice my weight, it was done in terms of what belt you were) and the fat shit fell on my ankle.

Aren't there some techniques that junioprs don't do in judo?

It doesn't work. Too many needles, too much lava.

The majority of the young people I work with (Youth Worker) know how submissions look anyway from You Tube and playing way too much of UFC undisputed so would prefer they knew how to perform them correctly, I always direct them to local gyms to learn proper technique and dont let them grapple each other in the youth clubs.
Its fairly easy to see how a rear naked choke and arm bar at very least seems to look just by seeing it once, but performing it correctly without causing injury or looking like a wally in a drill should still have some level of instruction.
So to answer your question young people will learn how they think they should do something anyway so its best that we promote it as a positive sport and not so they start choking their pet alstatian.

teach a under 16s mma class twice a week
they are taught striking, no gi, wrestling and gi jui jitsu
as long as they are taught correctly in a disciplined envroment then jui jits is no more dangerous to teach than striking techniques

ive arm barred someone in a fight before, didn't intentionally look for it, just knocked him down and started to whack him on the floor and his arm was flaying in defence so i couldnt turn down the invitation ;) the only difference is not letting go when they tap, pop, pop, pop..... :D
