hey, hendo has a good chin, KO power himself. he is excellent in the clinch and good takedowns, he will need to sharpen up on his sub defense but other then that i think he is in with a relatively decent shout

I think he has a better chance than about 80% of HW do for the simple fact that his style matches up well and he is a top level fighter. He would only be giving up about 20lbs, would likely have a speed advantage and has an amazing chin. In my book, Fedor still wins this by submission inside the first three rounds, probably round two. Can't see anyone beating Fedor at present, but some of the LHW (Hendo included) have a better chance than most of the HW do.

If he cleared out any legitimate challengers at LHW (not many) and got a win at HW then I don't think I'd object to it... he's an American Greco guy (popular) who happens to hold a victory over Nogeuira, the UFC's #1 contender to the belt. I think with some creative advertising, they could make it work.

It's a match up that reeks of "what else is there?" though, so I'd prefer not to see if at all possible.

Hendo would get smashed by Fedor and subbed. I think his best bet in Strikeforce is dominating middleweights i think he'd beat Shields and then have a big fight with Cung Lee perhaps. LHW i can't see him wrestling the belt away but it'd be a good fight and a good test for Mousassi could go either way but I'd go with Mousassi. Then who is there for him to fight Babalu? He won't fight Sokodjou when he trains with him and who cares if he did? lol

I think theres just about enough fights for him to finish his career at Strikeforce, Shields, Mousassi, Sobral, Fedor, Cung Lee.

Arlovski had only been finished once in the run up to the fight with Fedor in about 7-8 years, and was a perenial UFC champion/contender for the majority of that time. He's been smashed a few times, but this nonsense about his glass chin is just that, nonsense. The only idefensible knockout losses are to Datsik & Ricco Rodriguez. Shit happens though.

Hendo is fairly significantly smaller, with less reach, power & striking prowess than Andrei Arlovski, he's also not the supposed sambo superstar that Arlovski is/was which is where people thought Fedor would be in most trouble.

Hendo's only chance is a stray big right hand, which potentially could end the fight, but something that just doesn't happen when you fight someone like Fedor, especially not when it's someone whose biggest weapon is no secret to anyone. If Arvloski, Rogers, Schilt, Cro Cop, (Choi) et al couldn't knock him out, or come close, then I don't fancy the chances of "Decision Dan".

i deliberately never added Rogers because it was after the fedor fight, and that was part of the discussion... there's also very few people that Rogers hasn't flattened easily if the opportunity is there. Question his defence if you like, but to say that his chin is of such poor quality that it would make him less challenging to fight than a MW with a big punch & 17 non-finishes on his resumé seems like an outrageous claim. Would Hendo have no knockout losses on his record if he fought Rogers, Fedor, Tim Sylvia & Pedro Rizzo? Maybe, but unlikely..

Hendo would be beat, but still the guy is 40 and is an amazingly talented fighter and competitor.
I would like to see how long it lasted and if Fedor can ko Hendo..... it hasent been done yet, all Hendos losses are by decission or sub.

Henderson is a true legend. But don't forget he struggled with Rampage mainly because of the size and weight difference. Team Quest guys also have questionable ground games.
