he was running away for no apparent reason, made no sense what he was doing what so ever, was quite a good fight up until that point.

Josh Thompson I believe. Although Thompson tried some kind of spinning back punch and Yve's was a way more epic flying kick. No idea why someone would run away from someone with their guard down and back turned.
