Hi Guys

Was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some pads to put up against the wall at our gym?

Have been looking at the Zebra mats option. They look really sweet but expensive.

Any suggestions for suppliers or even tips on how to make our own would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Mate

The way I did it is simple - I Have mounted cheap jig saw mats that I bought from Decahlon to the walls of my private dojo simply using liquid nails / no more nails.

The problem you will have is air flow - if the wall is an outside one than batton the wall first then sheet it with 18mm MDF then pva the MDF let it dry and then stick your matts to it.

If you want bigger matts then try these guys - Ki Martial Arts Ltd - tel 01752 251 745.

I have used these guys for years and I use their 25mm matts on my floor and they are great - tell them you are an Instructor and that I have sent you their information and they should do you a deal.

Hope this helps mate.
