As the Hereford Open II is sold out why not do the Welsh Open in March instead? :)
If you're doing the Hereford Open, do the Welsh as well ;)

The website Chris is using to take the payments charge an admin fee. We thought it was best to list the total cost on the poster.

I've just updated the registration site so you can do multiple entries under one purchase, in case club instructors want to do block entries.
Some people have said they can't pay online because they don't have paypal but that should just mean the need to make an account the same time as you buy. If you have got a problem, please contact Chris Rees (his number is on the club website - see my sig) or myself.

I would really like to make this but I finish work at 9am on the morning of the omp, and due back in at 6pm for my second nightshift, just a bit awkward :(
Tbh if I do alright in Bristol then I'll probably be pumped and sign up after that!

Rob do you have any rough idea of a schedule like roughly what time white feather would be fighting?
Rob T
26-02-2010, 02:23 PM
No mate, I'm not organising it so no idea whether Chris has anything in mind. I guess it will depend on each category size after registration is closed.
I will find out for you though :)

Cool stuff :)
Brown belts fight for free. Oli Geddes and Kevin Webb should be there. So any brown belts wanna fight, get in touch. Tell any brown belts you know :)
Rob T

I think white belts will be on first, probably starting with the lightest weights (that's what normally happens anyway).
Rough idea is;
White
Purple
Brown
Blue
Although Brown could change as there is no point running the category until Creely and Oli are there! So I guess it could be white, purple, blue, brown.
I guess the absolutes will be last thing too.
### Please note I am not involved in organising this so can't guarantee this info at the moment, I just use the internet more (well, a lot more, lol!) than Chris Rees :)

out of curiosity why to the blues always seem to be last on at comps. not moaning just wondering
Rob T

Dunno mate, lol. Any comp organisers wanna say?
Chris has confirmed this...
Preferred running order is going to be white, purple, brown, blue. Brown will be changed to later if that's the only way it's gonna happen.
4 or more in any division (all belts etc) will mean that category will run as normal. There will be a fight for bronze.
2 or 3 will be round-robin/best of three.
For purples, browns and women (and possibly juvenile, forgot to ask for sure, will confirm this tomorrow) there will be as many fights possible. So round robin is possible (maybe split light & heavy plus a straight knock out absolute looking at entries so far).
For women it would be useful if everyone is up for fighting everyone? There is definitely a blue -65kg category (three entries so far... can Christine from Derby make it down as well?? That would be cool) and also a +69kg white belt. Are the blue belt girls cool with an open weight/belt category as well?
At white/blue, if someone is in a category on their own they'll be given the option of auto gold (boooo!!!) or to move weight or age category.
Absolute entries will be taken on the day and numbers may be limited. They will run at all belts though.
Can't promise a more accurate timetable, but I will try. Hoping to get brackets online before the day too... but bear with me on that one :)

Cheers mate.
If the brackets are all done, and I can post them up I will. I guess if it's doable I may as well innit?
Just registered. Can't wait.
