Im sure most people will agree that the MC can make or break the event.Having Ian Freeman at the event will just seal the deal for most fans.

I think most promotors should take heed and realise that they need to be professional and give the people paying good cash ,a great night out.

Theres nothing worse than being at a event with no atmosphere and a good MC will only have good effects to the overal night.

I have been at other shows prevously one in Fife and the other through the West where the MC just did not make the mark,the fights were excellent,the event was well managed but its the whole package that makes it memorable.

Some really good fights...it's a shame a lot of the fight's didn't get out the first round. Match making is hard!!

A huge thanks to team jigoku for all there support and letting us make use of there ring! The guy's went up the road 4-0 from last night, I don't know what was more of an acheivement that or taken the ring down and in the van in just under 20 minutes!

Another big thanks to Craig Stewart for taken theat fight on 2 days notice against a tough opponent like Danny. I didn't envy you when he can out to that huge support the place irrupted!

I am very critical of how the show went there was so much we could have done better, if any fighter's/teams or supporters have any feedback on our first show it would be great to hear.

I'm sure sanchez will be on very soon with the full results...

Well done to all the fighters, they all showed a lot of heart and good sportsman ship. Fight of the night for me was Ray vs Moir. Very explosive on the standup and it looked as tho Moir could have taken it at a couple of points in the fight however i think once it hit the ground Ray was too much for him and ultimately deserved the win.

Edit: as far as ways to improve the show, i think it wud be good if the promo vids for the fights got played right before the fights, kinda like in the ufc. Apart from that everything else was good. I liked the face off's on stage.

Was an excellent day and hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves.

Highlights were Paul Lopez picking the baywatch theme after forgetting his cd. James McAllister almost Nate Diaz style triangle, even though I think he done a thumbs up rather than middle fingers. Jim and Ray's fight was explosive as promised! Danny Clarke looked much more aggressive than his last fight, could tell it meant a lot to him. Well done to everyone who was involved, helped out and of course the fighters!!!

A massive shout out to Stevie Clark, he has been running about like a maniac the last month trying to make sure everything run smoothly, the amount of work put in was incredible!!

Great show, Well run, The faceoffs at the start was a nice touch really got the crowd and fighters fired up.

Gutted i wasn't fighting on it but there is always next time ;).

Great show! :) well done to Stevie Ray and James Moir for a excellent fight, it was an absolute war with both men landing solid blows! James showed heavy hands and landed a big flush knee to the face and had Ray rocked twice but Ray showed tremendous heart and determination by keeping his composure and fighting back strong. Also showed he has a good chin. True Warrior. Big thanks to Team Unity, all the Fighters and everyone else involved in making the show possible. All the best for the next one! ;)

Was a guy from the front row that shouted cheater. As i was working the corner.

But to be fair he broke the rules a few times, As you said he is new to the sport and trying to adjust to the rules. But surly if he is not ready to fight to the rules he should wait until he is able to. That 12-6 elbow to marius's spine was very dangerous. It's not as if it was once or twice it was a few times he was warned for fouls. I believe he was disqualified in his previous bout??

Yeah the lad Scott looked handy even managing to get back to his feet a few times which isn't easy and appeared to be very strong.

I'm sure he will learn from this and do his best to not let this happen again. I certainly understand getting caught up in the fight. But as a Team safety for our fighter comes first.

I like to think we are approachable as a Team and get along with every Team in Scotland.

If highland fight team asked about if we shouted Cheater or not we would of gave the answer there and then rather than him saying i'm pretty sure they did.

just to comment, i was unaware of any remarks from maruis corner.. my corner man was simply making a critism... it is no big deal anyway everyone is entitled to their opinion.. scott did break rules in the fight he is not the first fighter to (in heat of battle in front of a huge crowd) to get carried away and he almost certain he wont be the last i have spoken with scott and warned him of his discipline.

lets not have negatives from clearly an awesome show.. scott was more than happy with his fight he performed well and marius is a excellent wrestler and made it very difficult for scott to perform.. marius was very respectfull.

and again it was a very good night no bad points wat so ever.

Excellent show guys. I had a great night and it was good to catch up with so many people. I thought the crowd were fantastic too.

On the matter of shouts of cheater it was a guy in one of the boxes I could actually see him lean ing forward to shout it at one point and I'm sure Marc from Jigoku was actually laughing about after a while.

A never managed to see all the fights but the D.V.D's will be done soon so il manage to have a great viewing off that. wouldnt mind seeing moir and rays fights again (very explosive from 2 sides). rays always gd 2 watch.
