I'm more interested why SOME asian men (middle estern variety) treat their own women like shit, don't allow them to have any fun themselves and force them to cover up hgead to toe and not show any skin, yet lech over any white girls in short skirts etc etc and suck up to them hoping to get a shag at every opportunity (usually when they come into their take aways, corner shops or taxis).

My only thoughts were that that area of the Earth is a lot hotter than elsewhere, and so by a rule of thumb there will also be less cloud coverage. Clouds prevent as much solar radiation being sent back out into space, and the heat that they absorb is emitted and makes the air around them warmer. It also stops the temperature dropping at as high a rate. So, even though they're hot countries, they can be really cold at night, so evolutionary speaking, it would be in their benefit to be harier & therefore warmer at night. The genes that control this after however many generations would then become far more common than somewhere with a fairly 'average' climate like some places in Europe.

Hair also helps to prevent too much UV light absorbing into the body, stops foreign particles enteringthe body (in desert type land this would important) and things like thick eyebrows I'm guessing stop sweat from running down the forehead and into the eyes, so it's entirely possible that they have thicker hair in these areas to prevent that.

Etc..

Though all of the above could be complete bollocks, I don't really have much of an understanding of genetics and so on..

The structure of hair may be an important factor- Generally speaking, the more curly a hair is, the 'flatter' it is. Super straight hair (e.g. chinese people's) is circular when viewed in cross-section.
