Confirm date / venue / times etc etc
You,ll need either a cage or boxing ring
Organise advertisement - posters/flyers etc etc
Get a doctor and medic confirmed
you,ll need tickets , security staff , runners , ring girl or boy an mc etc etc and the main thing is fighters

Not being sexist but c'mon...
Just no, always gotta have the chicks!!!
Unless it's a 'specialist' venue...

Willie has pretty muched covered everything there. Judges and Referee also something you'll need.
From experience though pick your date carefully and give yourself enough time to organise it and to get the fighters.

ye a lot of fighters should be up for this will have a great crowd a lot of people up north watch UFC and will greatly appreciate a MMA event up north since its probably never been seen before :)
I'd probably say getting fighters is the hardest out of the whole lot. Scotland is so busy with events just now and seem to be running a little thin on fighters to cover them all.
Might aswell add to the list a good load of cash as there is always unexpected expenses etc..

I was surprised recently to read that boxing promoter Tommy Gilmour had once ben a ring card boy. I really want to ask him when I see him next if he wore a bikini.
