Hi Neil, I,m still working on a few minor adjustments to the origional card and shedule? As some changes have had to be made.

The standard ticket prices have been reduced to £20 due to the saving we have made by not having to take the show to Wales, this saving we have passed on to you the fans?

I will give you an interesting scoop however? one of which I,m sure will please the bulldog following.

Cagewarriors are extremely proud to announce that
Alex Da Sousa has agreed to fight in front of a very dominent home crowd, final confirmation of Alex,s opponent will be in tonight I can tell you that this will be a very interesting International bout??

I will release as much as I can as news comes in.

Regards Dougie

Thanks Dougie, I will be buying me ticket as will many others I know from Alex himself. Hope the event goes well and the price is excellent and will attract many people.

There is a strong boxing fanbase around Southampton and regular shows, they advertise with flyers and posters in a lot of chip shops.

Even the fake WWF shows do well round these parts so yours should be a sellout.

See if you can contact a business that does this sort of marketing as I am sure handing out these flyers on the high street will attract a lot of attention.

Hi guys very sorry about the update on cagewarriors 3 but as you can appreciate I have had to re-contact certain fighters to check their availability whilst introducing quality? local talent. I am confident I can release the new fight card this evening or tommorow morning. Please be assured this event is going to be probably the most exciting event we have staged at cagewarriors with a truely amazing venue,

At this point I would like to make a very important announcement and appology.

Because of the close proximaty of our March event to young Ross "Angry" Pettifer,s debut overseas in Hook n Shoot in March, myself Ross & his management have decided that it would not be in Ross,s best interests to fight on the 16th March, We at cagewarriors would like to appologize to both Alex Cook who has already put a tremendous effort into his preparation for this fight, we equally feel the need to appologize to the fans as you will not see these two great fighters getting it on in the "Octagon"

With this in mind I can promise you this bout will go ahead on the next available cagewarriors event as Ross makes his pro debut for us at cagewarriors, and I am sure you will agree under pro rules this fight will become even more exciting than origionally expected??

I would now like you all to share with me in wishing Ross the UK,s phonomenum the greatest of success as he prepares to do battle as probably the youngest UK MMA,er to fight overseas in America. Good luck Ross we are all behind you.

Kind regards Dougie

cagewarriors
16-02-2003, 08:06 PM
Now that a provisional opponent has been selected for Chris, I feel I should share the next statement with you all. This moved me personally and equally feel that Chris truly has earned his nickname with this enourmous gesture??

Chris Kerr will not only be returning to the "Octagon" for his second outing "For the fans" but for Cancer research Chris was so overwhelmed by this cause that he wishes his entire fight purse to go to this great charity, I myself on behalf of cagewarriors fighting championships also accept this as a great cause as sadly my wife Kerry,s mother sadly died at age 32 when Kerry was only 13 of this dreadful disease so in honour of Chris,s kind gesture we will double his purse for this Charity.

Big up Chris and good luck in your fight.

Kind regards Dougie

I see James Schiavo needs an opponent and I thought Paul Jenkins was on the previous card, maybe this would make a brilliant welterweight title fight?

So Chris is no longer fighting Andy Walker, I think Rod has more kick boxing skills but isn't as good on the ground. If thats any help to you mate.

Chris Kerr
19-02-2003, 07:39 PM
Thanks.
Yeah I have been doing a professional job this time and finding out a lot about this Flanders guy. He might be a good kickboxer, but you know what, I haven't had a chance to test MY kickboxing yet! I hope this guy does HIS research on ME, cos if he watches my old fights he is gonna have the biggest shit in his pants cos he will KNOW I will bash him WITHOUT EVEN BOTHERING TO PUNCH!
A lot of the time people say "Oh well if he wants to fight on the ground I'm gonna fight him on the feet...if he wants to bag, we will go to the ground" well I am the kind of person who will say "You wanna bang? We'll BANG! You wanna trade subs? I will tap you out mate" Rod, your choice...I will fight you in whatever environment you want. Just bring all you got to the table bro and I will pull the cloth off...

Neil_Allen
19-02-2003, 08:13 PM
Nice analagy (sp?) I like the idea of pulling the table cloth.

What about dance with me on this nineteenth century persian rug and I will pull it away from under your feet therfore causing you to fall into the open flame fire place?

Doesn't have the same ring to it but is along the same lines.
