Yes, it can be done.
Should you do it? - well, that's another question entirely :)

It can be done but I wouldn't recommend it.

I know its not good but how would you do it, sauna, rowing mach, starving lol
All depends on the details. I wouldn't want to give any specific advice on weight cutting without knowing more - such as how long between weigh in and fight, what your current build and body composition is relative to the weight class you're fighting in, the training you've been doing, current strength, endurance and aerobic capacity, and any existing medical conditions.
You're best speaking personally to someone who knows what they're doing. Asking for weight cutting advice on the Internet is asking for trouble IMO.

Its impossible to do without some sort of fatigue or risk to your performance Im afraid mate. Thats why the pros can water cut, because they weight in on a different day. But also you should ideally be dieting and into a regime 6-8 weeks previous, to allow your body to adjust to the diet and lose weight gradually.
is your fight in 3 days or is this a hypothetical question of "could it be done"

i was thinkin to try it but i cant see it happenin without sacrificing ability so ill just have to be at the bottom of another weight cat

I have done it, felt a bit tired though!!! (same day weigh in)
Basically ran in a sweat suit and drank and ate v.little (not good, I know) until after the weigh in, then it was honey roasted nuts, haribo, small chicken n pasta thing washed down with powerade and viper!!
Weighed in around lunchtime(ish), fought at around 2000ish. One time I weighed in around 1600-1700 and fought at 1930.
Same day, as in 8 hrs before you compete, or same day as in 5 minutes before you compete? There's a big difference!

I wouldn't say ability mate I would just say that you won't perform as you usually would. It is a 1% drop in hydration that equates to around a 7% drop in performance. So imagine cutting all of your water weight, you would be bloated putting it back on and your body will be messed up. Not worth it IMO.
But put it down to experience mate. You know your diet or training could do with a little tweak next time, so just manage it better next time. You know how your body works with cutting, as everybody is different. Best of luck with your fight mate.

At least next time you will know to prepare in advance. Why do you need to cut weight so fast? Do you have a fight at short notice?
