Anyone got one / use one?

What do you think of them?

Got an Adult version and 3 Kids versions

if you want to run drills for targeting work for ground and pound work then they are good.

They are crap for doing throwing work unless you put a judo gi on it which adds at least another £30.

For serious fighters then they are a waste on money as I never use mine if I have a partner to work with.

Go direct to Blitz Sports as they are the supplier to the site listed.

Cheers mate.

Its mainly to drill groundwork techniques and sweeps that others can't be bothered to drill... plus I work long hours so my drilling time is a bit late... i.e. 10.30pm /11pm at night so not got anyone to play with :(

Thanks

We have a few at my gym and to be honest I wouldn't bother. Find solo drills on youtube

hi i made my own very basic but better than most iv seen, i got rid of it now but i just it to go over moves and positioning and hour b4 my class, it really helped when i was watching ju-jistu dvds like brovos ruber guard and so on. all i did was,
1: old boxing glove
1:hollo metal pipe tor mop pole, cut to size of the neck and half body size)
1: ju-jistsu gi
2:string from the waist of track suit pant, (you could use anything)
1: roll duck tape (the more rolls will be better but im cheap)
main part alot of fome sponge, i got all mine for free, i wen to the local reflex 80s bar and got all there old fome hockey sticks, but you could could go a fabric shop, old couches, anything.
and some old tight bottoms and top,

first tape old rags socks ect.. around the top of the pole, to a small fist size (just use sticky tape) then put the pole in the glove and pack the glove with rags, duck tape the bottom of the glove and around the pole till firm.
now get some some sponge and stack it together best you can in a body width shape, and half the depth size.(as you make 2 and stick them together )
tape one around the top middle and bottom, just to hold in place,
now take one half body and place the pole on it with the glove popping out the top (no pole needs to be showing)
now tape pole best you can to the body, using the style of wrapping your hand when boxing.
now duck tape the 2 body together going tighter at the bottom to get the body shape, note your body will shrink as it will be compact with the tape. it should go dense like i strike shield,
arms and legs, all you do is get the length you want to upper arm and lower arm( 2 separate bits to each arm an leg) then duck tape them, so you should now have 2 upper arms 2 lower arms 2 upper legs 2 lower legs,

now put your body arms and legs in the old tight clothes, tie the wrists and feet tight so nothing can fall out. make shur the pant come over half the bottom of the body, then tape the pant to the body.
now get the string this has to be shoe lace thick, and put it under the groin and over the opposite shoulder tie at the back, same with other string, so it will look like an x shape, this makes the legs close when opened so the feel of guard is on. make sure its tight you will se it close the legs in.
now slap on the gi and enjoy

tips, you can add gloves for hands and feet guards for feet.
tips, you can duck tap around the finished body ( out of gi) over the shoulders and under the arm pits(i did not need to do this as the inner clothes wer very tight
