This is simply out of curiosity. When boxers turn pro do they make enough to earn a living straight away?

Got told once that debut pros can get 2k for their first fight, anyone able to say this aint far off?

Lets say someone holds the british and commonwealth belts, would they be making decent cash?

Well I spoke to some people at the prize fighter at donny race course and those lads were getting between 1-2k, title holders were getting abit more so straight pro should be around that

Commonwealth should be looking at £8-10k depending on tv deal. Fair bit to pay out of that though.

Hi

@ Norwich Kickstop we have Pro Boxing Team. Sam Sexton, Danny Mcinttosh and the Walsh brother plus many more.

They get about £800 for there first first. Then it gose up each time after that.

What u got to remember about boxing they might get more money but the cornerman x2 got to be paid plus agent or manager. So some times the Pro only get half of there fight fee, the rest gose to coach, cornerman etc.

So if they get £800 fight fee the might only get £400 after costs.
