Yes, no striking is allowed with the back of the fist, only the front knuckles.

Something to do with easily screwing it up and slamming them with your elbow or forearm I am told...

never seen anybody try a superman punch in boxing. I know the whole idea is that you are faking the kick, but it may still work

Most high level boxers would be too good to be hit with a superman punch in a boxing match. If I can see one coming then im sure a professional boxer would see it, move/counter pretty much the split second they saw the movement.

Would be like a modified Arlovski - Fedor situation if you can picture it.

I think points can be deducted if your feet leave the canvas, other than a knock out lol

I once saw Young Mutley get dropped with a superman punch, he complained about it but the ref still counted him for it.

you cant throw any spin punchs can only throw with the front of the boxing glove , last time i checked superman punch was alowed

I saw it in a women's boxing match once (it connected too) but can't remember the fighter.
Spinning back fists are definitely illegal. As well as the area of the knuckles that make impact, isn't it also disallowed coz of something to do with turning your back on your opponent?
