Going down the shop later, I have a scafolding frame in the back garden, looking to use it for additional cardio and general bag work. Looking to spend no more than £150 really. From this site (as they have a shop just down the road) which bag would you get? Heard heavier is better is that true? What oz gloves should I use also for bag work? Thanks.

Well tried a few hits on the 100lb bag and imo it was too light flying everywhere so now looking for a heavier one.

Why don't you look at buying a bag shell and then filling it your self? I can get you the bag lining if you want to do that just drop me a pm

yetiman,
I have a 150lb 4ft everlast bag
until recently U used to use bare hands with 180inch wraps for bag work, but my hands are totally fucked
I now use a pair of 4oz caged steel mma gloves with 108 inch wraps for bag work

Our Sandee bags are very heavy. The bags are manufactured in Thailand but they are machine filled with cotton rag here in the UK. This means a pneumatic ram is used to force the rag down into the bag to achieve a density impossible by doing manually.
The weighs of the bag vary from around 150lbs to 200lbs.
Sandee bags hang in many of the UK and Thailand’s top gyms.
However they are not cheap. They are pro quality designed to be used day in day ot by professionals and last for years. You get what you pay for.

We have just had a shipment arrive and are awaiting more bags to be returned from our filling contractor.

Ive got a sandee one at one of the gyms i train at, it like kicking a rhino - great bags, if you want a heavy one or something thats going to last i'd get a sandee, i got a cheap one off ebay which was supposed to be about 200lbs - i split it after a few weeks, so it was either not 200lbs or ive got hands of stone - how are you Yeti long time no see
