I can use it sometimes on my mates from motherwell if they are taking a really high mount on me. Don't think that my technique is quite right against the guys I train with in glasgow. They can pretty much pound me whenever they want at whatever they want.

It depends on how people mount, only if they are mounted high and have a poor mount will it work. Otherwise they can just lower it again or spin for an armbar, as to get a good distance the person under mount needs to use their arms.
