MMA clubs near Pontypridd?

Hi guys,

A mate of mine is moving to Treforest this academic year and wants to start training in MMA. I know clubs in Cardiff which he could travel to but I'm not sure if there's anything a bit closer for him? Anybody know any clubs nearby?

I'm sure there's a club in that area but I can't remember what it's called, it may be one 2 one mma? Our club is around 25-30 minutes drive away and he will be welcome here :)

Thanks mate, I'll look it up. I appreciate the offer but for 25-30 mins he'd probably rather come and train with me in Cardiff. But it's good to have other options open.

Does anyone know if Fight Academy Wales is still doing anything other than just boxing? I can't seem to get my PC to load their website.

I'm starting to get down to GB Cardiff on Wednesday nights myself, I do the no gi in Cardiff combat with Chris first then go on to his session in the UFC afterwards.

Oh ok, if he choses the one in Ponty would it be alright to put him in touch with you? He has a car and lives up by Merthyr somewhere so I'm sure he wouldn't mind saving himself and yo ua few quid.
