Have a friend who is an amputee so doesn't have a forearm on his right arm (from elbow down downwards) who wants to do some weight training/strength training. So I've said I'll help him out with some exercises but its actually proving a tougher task than I thought as I don't want to risk causing imbalances between the opposing sides of the body.
So far I've thought of squats with a dumbbell, lunges, standing rotations, dumbbell cleans, snatches, swings maybe thrusters.
Also thought of using the upper part of his arm to do fly's with a cable machine by attaching the ankle strap to it
So has anybody had any experience with training with a similar individual or can anybody help me out with a couple of exercises. This is a chance to think outside of the box.
Thanks chris
