The truth is you have the biggest team in Scotland with the best fighters, I also read your team alone has more pro fighters than all the other Scottish teams put together. I want to know how much of this success is due to coaching at the dinky ninjas and how much is due to you lot taking in fighters from other teams ?

The simple answer to that mate it is down to the ninjas being one of the first and oldest mma teams in scotland and the dedication of the coaches and the hard work they and the fighters put in at training and the whole fight teams desire be the the best is what makes them the biggest and best team and this is no offence to any of the coaches and fighters from other teams the ninjas have gyms in dumbarton glasgow and lanarkshire and are all busy gyms people will train where they want to train no one is kidnapped and forced to train with the ninjas they choose to thats just my opinion anyway

It's just a case of personal ambition.
If people think they can improve and are not affraid to get out their comfort zone then they will seek out the best coaches and team mates/sparring partners.
If you're easily the best guy at your gym then your in the wrong place.
The truth is that the other teams fighters argument doesn't stand.
I think you'll find that the most successful fighters at the dinkies are completely home grown but success breeds success and attracts motivated and ambitious individuals.
It's not a second rate premiership football club with a lot of money and ambition where big name players are being bought in or have to sign a contract for the team. I honestly don't think any MMA team would look to do this.
Look at it another way, how many of the active fighters in the team have come from other clubs?
I'm not up to speed anymore but I can only think of less than a handful out of a big squad.
Do you really think that a team that has performed so well and grown so much in recent years is down to a couple of people who have come through other clubs?
Do you not think that the team would be responsible for developing people who may have left other clubs? Surely the individual would leave the dinkies as well if they didn't feel they had improved. What's keeping them at the team? Don't say loyalty, they've already left one team.
The only logical reason for the dinkies success is that the team has built itself up over many years from its roots, actively competing before many of its rivals in Scotland while making mistakes along the way and learning from them. At its root core are a dedicated group of individuals who have been there from the start and have retained knowledge from various training partners, mentors, and experiences over the years and despite a few branches falling off over time they have continued to grow. This is down to hard work and dedication. If you look up Pauls interview from before his last fight he kinda explains this. Newer gym members don't have to go through as much of this and are ultimately now able to go to excellent facilities and get excellent coaching from day zero.
So who's going to be more successful most of the time? The guys who have been doing it for years or the boys who like watching UFC, got hold of some old Mario Sperry DVDs and started training out an old church hall last week?

The truth is we have the best competition team, best coaches, best sparring partners and best systems for athlete development in the Country, hence why we win stuff and have a skank load of fighters in the UK and European rankings.
Has Jordan and his posse got bored again.

The reason that other fighters have started training with the DNFT is because of their success, not the other way around.
