I see that grip does a s&c class on Fridays - is it a weights based circuit, bodyweight or kettlebells usually?
who usually teaches it?

Noted strength and conditioning coach (some might say Guru) Paul McVeigh takes the class, i believe he runs it in 6 week blocks, focusing on different aspects of conditioning for combat athletes.

Thanks for the reply fella.
Reckon I would need a decent level of fitness before attending as im not a combat athlete i just train for fun and fitness and looking to put on a bit of muscle and tone up a bit?

Nah not really, theres a very diverse group of guys and girls of all ages at this class mate.Almost 50% dont train in martial arts and a lot of people from other sports are training at it.
Best thing would be to just get along and give it a go.

It's a tough class and will noticably increase your fitness, I've certainly noticed a difference now that I'm not there every week.
