I had forgotten how awesome this film is until I came across a clip from it on YouTube. Old school anime is awesome. The fact that a character can seem to grow about five feet in every frame simply makes it even more awesome.

Fist of the north star is awesome, prob my fave anime film, watched it loads of times growing up and always tried to stick my fingers in to my little bros chest.(not actually trying to break through his ribs, just playing.)

Jesus christ I remember watching Fist of the North Star on the Sci-fi channel when I must have been like 10 or something, they used to have a Manga night on there once or twice a week. Also watched the whole Guyver series which was fuckin brilliant, haven't seen those for years.

I used to love fighting that big fucker in the computer game arcade machine.

The arcade machine 'Fighting Mania' was awesome, a serious bloody workout if done right too.

Played one in Ayia Napa back in 2000 when it first came out. The last time I saw one was on Morecambe Pier a few years back, but my wife had a go at me because I kept shouting "At at at at at at at aaaaaaaa!" at the machine when I hit it and it was confusing the local chavs and making them flock over.
