I'm looking to create my own grappling dummy as i can't get to training as often as i'd like and would love to just drill the basics and get my hip movement down etc.

I thought about buying one but don't really have £150 to shell out.

My current plans are to build something almost like a scarecrow...
Get a pair of joggers and a shirt, stuff with foam or old clothes and duct tape the ends shut. Perhaps using a football for a head and my old tae kwon do sparring stuff (feet and hand pads) for feet and hands.
I realise it's going to be very light but i don't know what else to do.
basically does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve it or just tell me its a stupid idea.

p.s i have read this thread http://www.cagewarriors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51033
but the one described seemed really complicated with metal bars etc.

Thanks
