Best internet connection

I have no internet (doing this around a friends). I am wondering what a good internet deal is anyone? I don't want to get a landline phone either because I won't use it. Don't really download stuff at the moment either. There must be a cheap option.

I know this is random but suggestions would be appreciated.

get a mobile internet dongle thingy

(plugs into your usb, works via 3g)

go into a phone shop, they will do a search using your postcode and tel lyou who has the best 3g in your area

and roberts your fathers brother... cheap internet!

works out aobut 15 quid a month, theres even the option of pay as you go
