Me mam has been diagnosed with severe degenerative arthritis in her knee, been told a brace might help (just for general mobility she can hardly walk)

Can someone recomend a decent reasonably priced one?

Hi Mate - sorry to hear that. Probably need some expert advise on what level of support is required, and where in the knee joint needs the support. I've used knee braces for cruciate ligament injuries, which can be similar to the stability weakness of arthritus.

Link for some braces of varying prices. I have used the vulcan ones which are pretty good (for sport...).

theres loads of places do rehab/arthritus info and products, just google it... Haven't found any from a quick search, but might be worth while looking to see if there are any arthritus charities that can help out with costs etc...

I got my ankle support through the NHS, your mum should be able to get one too. I'm about to re-enter the wonderful beaurocracy of our healthcare system later this week to see if I can get some orthotic insoles sorted out, too.
