No surprize really. He's winless in his last 4 fights in WEC (although he should have gotten the win against Kamal. even if he had won that fight though, I still think he would not have transfered into the UFC)

im suprised but also not suprised if you get me. im not suprised due to his last 4 fights but i am suprised as with him being a former WEC champion i would have thought they would have had him for promo reasons

They are gonna be mega ruthless with the ex-WEC guys who don't have big names or potential to push for titles. I cant see many gate keepers at 135/145 tbh

agree, even more so with the 70kg guys as they already have a stacked division full in the UFC, i think some of the UFC guys are going to have to up their games or drop to 66 also

With the division as stacked as it is, I can't help but wonder if it wouldn't have been better for the UFC to create lighter divisions and keep the WEC ongoing as a sort of UFC B-Division for fighters to stay active.
