What’s up guys my names andy ive recently started training in MMA and need help choosing my gear
Looked around a few sites and found a few good deals, I figured I would need:
Shinguards (http://fightstoremma.com/fight-gear/mma-shinguards/fairtex-shin-guards.html)
Boxing gloves, these (http://www.fightstoremma.com/fight-gloves/boxing/fairtex-boxing-gloves-3-tone.html) or perhaps these (http://www.fightstoremma.com/fight-gloves/boxing/king-boxing-gloves-professional-velcro-straps-5.html)
Groin guard (http://www.fightstoremma.com/fight-gear/protection/jaco-guardian-compression-shorts.html)
MMA gloves (http://www.fightstoremma.com/fight-gloves/mma-gloves/fairtex-ultimate-nhb-gloves-2.html)
Rashguard (http://www.fightstoremma.com/fightwear/rashguards/hayabusa-dragon-rashguard.html)
Gumshield (http://www.fightstoremma.com/fight-gear/gumshields/shock-doctor-v2-standard.html)
i also saw an MMA begginers pack (http://www.fightstoremma.com/mma-starter-pack.html)
which looked good value for money.. thoughts
Do you guys think this is everything I need to train? if not please by all means make some suggestions:cool:

Thanks, Andy.

If you're only just starting i wouldn't buy expensive gear just yet, get some shin guards from caged steel, i got my groin guard from here (http://www.osakafightgear.com/products/Bytomic-Deluxe-Groin-Guard.html) only cost a tenner and it's decent, i got a cheap gumshield from JJB sports, and i recommend Sandee boxing+mma gloves from any decent store on here, check out ckamartialartssupplies, anacondacombat or okakafightgear.

When i start training in the advanced classes i'll start buying better gear

Caged Steel for most of your base kit - Gloves , Rash Guard etc
Opro Platinum for the shield and basic groin box is the way to get started.

If your after a pack let me know what kind of money your looking to spend and I wil see what I can sort for you , as I always try and take care of guys on here if i can

one additional thing as well, if you have shin guards and boxing gloves from when you did Thai, these will do the job

Had you been doing Thai for a year i'm pretty sure you would already have boxing gloves, gum shield, groin guard. Quite obviously an advert!
