Hey,
First post here so hi everyone :D
I start a new job tomorrow in London right near Old street station and wanted to know if anyone can recommend any good MMA gyms nearby? I've done Muay Thai for a long time and while im working in London wouldn't mind trying some MMA or bjj/judo for a change.
The closest gym i have found on google is London fight factory, anyone recommend it or somewhere else?
Thanks all

Yes LFF is an absolute quality gym. As is http://www.legacybjj.co.uk/index.php/class-schedules although you get more variety at LFF, Legacy BJJ is also in old street and unlike LFF they don't insist on direct debit payment, so you can pay cash and see if it's for you.

the mma clinic is one stop up on the northern line at angel. www.themmaclinic.com Michael Russell teaches the BJJ with Paul Hines teaching MMA. Very good gym.

Bobs Breens place is in Hoxton Square. They've got a huge range of stuff going on there.

yeah Bob now operates out of Space (the gym attached to the college) which is about 5 mins away and last time I looked, didn't have the thai, boxing or BJJ classes they used to run but that might have changed recently.

Most people think pay as you go gyms are a bit naff but they are definitely getting more popular. Most gyms just want to get you to sign membership though and they make their pay as you go price stupidly expensive BUT you can get discounted rates if you look properly. Try www.payasugym.com (http://www.payasugym.com/gyms-in-london/) to get you started...
