Well done to Calum murrie who received his 10th planet blue belt on Saturday from Sean bollinger, eddie bravos 2nd blackbelt student!! Does anyone else know of anyone in Scotland who has been graded in 10th planet out of curiosity??

you just have to show sufficient knowledge in the 10th planet system and that you can use it to that level just like regular BJJ but i am interested to know where he got graded i assume its in America

Calum trains regularly in Grimsby with the uks only 10th planet instructor. He recently attended a seminar and spent the weekend training with Sean bollinger who felt his knowledge of and ability to apply the 10th planet systems were worthy of blue belt level or blue t shirt I think they call it. Ive learned a few of the techniques and they work well but particularly suit his crazy flexibility. I always think the more u can learn the better but think it's most useful as an addition to an already strong bjj game.

Yeah think he took silver in no gi and submitted 2 of his opponents with 10th planet techniques if My memory serves me right, could be wrong. I was too busy putting on a bad performance lol

What's the main difference between tenth planet and standard no gi? Is it just rubber guard?

No real difference, 10th planet is just a system, a guard game(and top game) with clear objectives, the games just different due to its dependance on moves and positions that require high degrees of flexibility.

It's no different to having a nogi guard game based on the triangle and how to get it, it's just a game...

It's just marketed as different so Eddie can line his pockets easier.

well done callum, from what ive seen his grappling is very good.

Does this mean he has been graded in bjj at blue belt level or just in 10th planet (SYSTEM) ??
