From a previous event report i wrote about this year (i wont name the show)
The only sour footnote to this fight was the crowd trouble that occurred to my left and could have been a lot worse. However on a weekend that was marred by sports related violence up and down the country, this could easily be an indictment of British society rather than the fault of the promotional team and/or the sport itself.
I'm dissapointed by what has happened both at the event and afterwards. i don't blame Pedro and certainly won't hound him even though i'm not pleased when i heard about it early this morning.
The Sherdog managerment really should be ashamed of themeleves, i wonder if this did get MMA banned in the UK what would they say then? With rumors flying around on their forums that people were killed, i feel they should of shown some responsibility and at least e-mailed us or asked for a statement first.
I'm sure they could of found my phone number but i guess that even website have ratings and advertisers to please and promoting the sport here doesn't seem to be on the list of things to do.
