Cool, u fighting in the Gracie comp as blue belt? My mate Denis just got blue belt and is a lightweight, would be interesting to see you fight him.

It will help me know my level too, as I can give him a good go and get some sweeps and armbars off when I am doing well.

Nah im not doing the tournament as i couldnt be arsed paying for it. A couple of my mates are heading down to it though.

how long had u been training in bjj to get your blue belt? although i have heard youve been a cert to get it for a while now

Depends on how often ur training, But anyone should be able to get one in a year if they are training right.

i know hes been putting the hours in so hope he gets there soon, worst thing is i started at same time as him went a few times, stopped training due to shoulder injury now hes way ahead of me, and when i go back hes gonna kick my ass, which isnt fair cause hes my little brother lol
